When deciding upon a name for this watercolor painting, I had no hesitation at all. Tzion, a name that is used synonymously with the holy city of Jerusalem. Biblically and historically, Jerusalem is the focal point of our hearts. This beautiful verse from Tehillim, The book of Psalms, illustrates this so poetically. 
 
"יִבָּנֶה הַמִּקְדָּשׁ / עִיר צִיּוֹן תְּמַלֵּא וְשָׁם נָשִׁיר שִׁיר חָדָשׁ / וּבִרְנָנָה נַעֲלֶה"
 
"The Temple will be rebuilt; the city of Zion will be filled. 
And there we will sing a new song, going upwards."
